Help Out at the 2026 Friendship Walk to End Homelessness!

Join us in Washington, DC, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, for an inspiring day dedicated to ending homelessness.

This year, we’re aiming for our biggest turnout yet, and we need your help to make it happen! With over 200 participants typically joining, your volunteer support is invaluable.

New Location: The Lincoln Memorial. Our walk rally and start/finish line site will be on the Western end of the reflection pool at the bottom of the stairs of the Lincoln Memorial.

Event Details:

• 8:00 AM: Volunteer check-in and setup begins.
• 9:30 AM: Registration and check-in for walkers open.
• 10:30 AM: Inspiring speeches by local dignitaries, homelessness advocates, and supporters.
• 11:00 AM: Walk kicks off!

Volunteer Roles:

• Setup Crew: Arrive early to help set up tables, tents, and signage.
• Swag Station Helpers: Staff the merchandise and giveaway table.
• Cheer Squad: Encourage and cheer on walkers at the start and finish lines.
• Post-Event Crew: Help load vehicles with event materials after the walk.
