Bring joy to families during the holiday season by volunteering at Spectrum’s Annual Holiday Party, a festive and autism-friendly celebration for individuals with autism and their families. This special event is designed to create a cheerful, inclusive, and sensory-aware environment where families can come together to celebrate the season and enjoy meaningful moments as a community.
Volunteers play an essential role in making the event a success. Support may include assisting with event setup and decorations, helping with holiday-themed activities and crafts, supporting food service and refreshments, greeting and guiding families, providing general event and family support throughout the celebration, and assisting with cleanup at the conclusion of the event. Volunteers will work alongside Spectrum staff and event leads, who will provide clear direction and on-site support.
This opportunity is ideal for volunteers who enjoy working with families, supporting inclusive community events, and contributing to a positive and festive atmosphere. No prior experience is required—just a friendly attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, festive attire if desired, and be prepared to assist in a variety of roles to help create a joyful holiday experience for all attendees.
