The Marketing Manager plays a key role in implementing Surmount’s marketing and communications strategy. Working closely with the Executive Director, the Manager ensures smooth execution of campaigns, content creation, and outreach. They also supervise and support Marketing Coordinators, ensuring tasks are completed on time and aligned with Surmount’s mission and brand.
Responsibilities include:
- Team Management & Support
- Supervise and guide Marketing Coordinators, providing direction, feedback, and support.
- Assign and track tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Foster collaboration and communication within the Marketing Team.
- Marketing & Communications
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
- Support social media content planning and scheduling.
- Help create materials (graphics, flyers, newsletters, presentations) to promote Surmount’s programs and initiatives.
- Maintain brand consistency across platforms and communications.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with other teams (Programs, Development, Operations) to support their outreach needs.
- Provide updates to the Executive Director on progress, challenges, and successes.
- Track and share analytics/insights to improve engagement and outreach.
