The Academic Mentors Project connects high-achieving students with volunteer mentors who can offer guidance and real-world insight into career paths they are excited to explore.
We are currently seeking a behavioral health clinician to work with a first-generation college-bound student who is interested in pursuing psychology/social work as a career.
Mentors typically spend about six hours total with their student, spread across three to six sessions, in addition to an initial introductory meeting. Families provide all transportation, and scheduling is very flexible.
