About Us

Futures Unwalled is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting families of children with special needs. We help parents navigate IEP meetings, access resources, and advocate for their children’s educational rights. Our mission is to reduce isolation and provide vital resources to underrepresented communities.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate volunteer Outreach Coordinator to help expand our reach within Orange County. You will assist with connecting our services to families, organizations, and community groups, and raise awareness about the support we offer to those in need.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Futures Unwalled at community events, meetings, and outreach opportunities.

• Help identify and build partnerships with local organizations, schools, and advocacy groups.

• Promote our services to families, schools, and community centers.

• Assist with creating and distributing promotional materials (flyers, brochures, etc.).

• Maintain and grow a network of community contacts to ensure services reach those who need them most.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with outreach, networking, or community engagement.

• Ability to work independently and with a team.

• Passion for serving families and children with special needs.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
