ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Our Maternal Health & Newborn Supply Kits aim to combat the maternal health crisis by specifically addressing the mental health struggles of new moms who cannot afford the supplies they desperately need for their babies. Each kit is delivered to new mothers in hospitals immediately after giving birth and contains items that are vital for the health and wellbeing of both mother and newborn including diapers, hygiene products, breastfeeding supplies, postpartum care and educational resources.

HOW VOLUNTEERS CAN HELP

We are inviting community members to create encouraging handwritten notes that can be included in the kits. These thoughtful messages remind new mothers that someone is thinking of them.

This project is perfect for schools, corporate teams, community groups, and families looking for a meaningful, hands-on way to give back together.

WHAT TO WRITE

Short, warm and encouraging messages of strength and love.

• Please ensure notes are anonymous and free of political or religious content.
• Notes may be written in English or Spanish.

(If writing in Spanish, please include an English translation on the back.)

• Drawings, doodles and hearts are welcome!
• Please write one message per note card, index card or greeting card.

(Baby2Baby is not able to provide the note cards at this time.)

HOW TO PACKAGE & DELIVER YOUR NOTES

Please count your completed notes, place them in a Ziploc bag or large envelope, and clearly write the total number of notes on the outside. (Please include a minimum of 25 note cards.)
