Descrição
PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Support the VA Hospital patients by greeting, giving directions, or helping them navigate within the VA Hospital complex in Amarillo, TX.
OPEN TIME DAYS
- Choose a 4-hour,｠weekday morning or afternoon shift:｠8:00am -12:00pm or 12:00pm - 4:00pm (large assistance is needed mostly for afternoon shifts)
- Can work as many shifts as wanted
- Participation at the VA Facility at least 1 time per month is the minimum requirement to maintain an active volunteer status.
REQUIRED TRAINING
- SAF Overview (Given by supervisor)
- VAVS Background Check and Fingerprints (Done by VAVS department)
- VAVS Orientation (Given by VAVS department)
- HIPPA Law overview (Given by VAVS department)
