About CYSD

The Centre for Youth and Sustainable Development (CYSD) is a community-based nonprofit organisation working to improve education, health, youth empowerment, child protection, and sustainable development in underserved communities in Cameroon.

Our work focuses on practical, high-impact solutions such as school meals programs, access to clean drinking water, education support, and youth empowerment initiatives.

CYSD has recently been approved to fundraise through Goodstack and granted access to Google Ad Grants, marking an exciting growth phase for our organisation.

Volunteer Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Digital Fundraising Volunteer to help us grow our impact by strengthening our online fundraising strategy, managing Google Ad Grants, and leveraging Goodstack to attract global donors and corporate partners.

This is a remote, volunteer-based role ideal for someone passionate about social impact and experienced in digital fundraising tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Google Ad Grants campaigns (up to USD $10,000/month)
• Create and test Google Ads that drive donations and awareness
• Improve fundraising performance through keyword research, conversion tracking, and analytics
• Support fundraising campaigns through Goodstack
• Help position CYSD for corporate and CSR partnerships
• Advise on landing page optimization to improve donor conversion
• Provide simple performance reports and recommendations

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with Google Ad Grants (required)
• Experience using Goodstack for nonprofit fundraising (strong advantage)
• Knowledge of digital fundraising and online donor acquisition
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and conversion tracking
• Strong written communication skills
• Passion for social impact, education, and community development

Time Commitment

• 5–10 hours per week
• Flexible schedule
• Initial commitment of 3 months (extendable)
