    Are you looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families during some of their most challenging times? Join our compassionate hospice team as a volunteer and help provide comfort, dignity, and support to patients facing end-of-life challenges.

    As a Hospice Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and their families by offering companionship, respite care, emotional support, and assisting with practical tasks. You will work alongside a skilled and caring team of professionals to ensure that each patient receives the highest quality care in their final days.

    We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds. Training and guidance will be provided to ensure you're comfortable and confident in your role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients in hospice care
    • Offer respite care to family members, giving them time to rest or take care of other responsibilities
    • Help create a peaceful and supportive environment for patients and their families
    • Attend volunteer training sessions to ensure you feel prepared and knowledgeable
    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and procedures

    Qualifications:

    • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to provide emotional support and a comforting presence
    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Background check and screening required
