Volunteer with AccentCare® Hospice
Use your compassion and talents to support local hospice patients and their families. AccentCare® Hospice volunteers provide comfort, companionship, and meaningful support during life’s most important moments.
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
Office Volunteer
Provide administrative and clerical support
Social & Companionship Volunteer
Reading, walking, and caregiver relief visits
Ambassador Volunteer
Community outreach and volunteer recruitment
Bereavement Volunteer
Provide emotional support to patients’ families and friends
Legacy Volunteer
Create lasting memories through books, journals, CDs, memory bears, and crafts
Spiritual Presence Volunteer
Support patients with faith-related requests
Vigil Volunteer
Offer companionship during a patient’s final hours
Music Companionship Volunteer
Play, sing, and share music with patients and families
Pet Visitation Volunteer
Visit patients with certified Pet Partners or therapy dogs
Special Projects Volunteer
Support special programs and events such as We Honor Veterans
Children’s Bereavement Camp Volunteer
