About Voices for Animal Welfare (VfAW)
Voices for Animal Welfare (VfAW) is an international NGO bridging Europe and Africa to give a
voice to animals and empower communities. Through legal advocacy, education, veterinary
support, and the arts, we unite volunteers, experts, and advocates to create sustainable,
culturally inclusive change in animal welfare. Our fully remote, global team shares a mission: a
more humane world for animals and people.
Role Summary
This is a 100% volunteer, unpaid position.

As a Volunteer Videographer, you will transform advocacy into compelling short-form video
content that amplifies animal welfare stories, grows our digital community, and inspires
real-world impact.
Responsibilities
Create and edit high-energy, high-impact short-form videos (15–60 seconds) for
Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Transform raw footage into emotional, educational, or behind-the-scenes storytelling
content
Leverage current social media trends, formats, and audio to maximize reach and
engagement
Optimize videos for vertical viewing, strong pacing, captions, and viewer retention
What You Bring
Proven experience creating successful short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and audience engagement
Ability to work independently using your own professional editing workflow
Passion for animal welfare, ethical advocacy, and mission-driven storytelling
