Community Outreach Assistant

As a Community Outreach Assistant, you will:

• Identify and research all community resources to develop key stakeholders and community leaders who can offer support and provide valuable insights into homelessness, housing affordability, food security.
• Identify and research to find local organizations (clubs, social groups, schools) and partners to hold donation drives to support our programs.
• Identify and research local networking events for potential partnership or for the President to attend.
• Develop Influencer Collaboration with youth to join forces and engage with BASE on social media.
• Develop social media outreach to leverage platforms like LinkedIn for professional connections.
• Develop content marketing (blogs, webinars, whitepapers) to provide valuable information to potential stakeholders and partners.
• Maintain database of all connections and outreach.
• Report activities to the President every month.
• Remote, with occasional in-person events and/or meetings.

Qualifications:

• Ability to plan and manage work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Must be active on social media, LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram
• Proficiency in resource management tools and use of computer software programs to maintain resource information
