Gesher Peace Initiative is looking for passionate, dedicated and reliable volunteers interested in being part of an international effort to make real change in the lives of sexual violence survivors.
The purpose of this position is to play a key role in conducting research that will inform Gesher Peace's educational awareness efforts, and help create relevant resources. For this role, we are seeking individuals with experience in research, journalism, psychology, and/or international relations/political science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on psychological interventions, trends, and best practices, especially in crisis and displacement settings.
- Explore global and local data, policies, and reports on CRSV.
- Draft clear, and concise weekly memos that summarize findings and highlight key insights for staff, volunteers, and educational awareness campaigns.
- Provide citations and references from credible sources.
- Stay updated on emerging developments in mental health, trauma informed care, and CRSV prevention/response.
Qualifications:
- Strong research and writing skills (academic or professional experience in research preferred)
- Background in research.
- Demonstratable experience in research.
- Commitment to survivor first, ethical, and culturally sensitive approaches
- Experience working with displaced or vulnerable populations is an asset.
