Arts and Crafts | Volunteer with Lifted Hospice | Grapevine/HEB

Opportunity Description:

Although our headquarters is in Plano, we serve the majority of DFW, and you can volunteer near where you live. Our Memory Care Patients love to do arts and crafts and we're looking for individuals to volunteer their time assisting with crafts. We aren't looking for Picasso; just people passionate about helping brighten someone's day and a willingness to sit with our patients!

Your time can make a profound difference in the lives of those nearing the end of their journey. Whether it’s through a heartfelt conversation, sharing a laugh, or simply sitting together, your presence brings comfort, hope, and dignity to someone in need.

What You’ll Do:

• Spend quality time with elderly patients in care facilities assisting with arts and crafts.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Brighten their day by being a kind and caring presence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Compassionate individuals with a heart for serving others.
• Good listeners who can provide support and comfort.
• A commitment of a few hours per week or as your schedule allows.

No medical experience is required-just a willingness to share your time and kindness. Comprehensive training and support are provided.
