Volunteer Program Director – Rites of Passage Mentoring

Description

The Volunteer Program Director will provide leadership and oversight for Change Me Foundation’s Rites of Passage Mentoring Program, a youth-focused initiative designed to support social-emotional development, positive decision-making, and mental health awareness. This role ensures program quality, mentor engagement, and positive outcomes for participating youth.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating mentoring sessions and supporting program logistics
• Assisting with mentor recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement
• Tracking attendance, participation, and basic outcome measures
• Collaborating with community partners, facilitators, and guest speakers
• Supporting program evaluation, documentation, and impact reporting
• Serving as a point of contact between mentors, youth, and organizational leadership

Qualifications:

• Experience working with youth, mentoring programs, or community-based initiatives
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Passion for youth development, mental health, and community impact
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment

• Time commitment: 6–10 hours per week
