A Little Time, A Profound Impact; Patient Companions Needed in Newburyport

Compassus Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals interested in sharing a little of their time each week to visit with a patient, providing companionship and a caring presence. Companion Volunteers spend time engaging in whatever activity the patient is interested in, from going outside for a walk, to reading, to listening to music or just chatting. You can make a difference in someone's life at the end of their life by providing such companionship. This can be a very rewarding volunteer experience. We will provide individualized training at your convenience.
