Tiny Hearts Remembered, Inc. is a Toledo-based nonprofit supporting individuals and families impacted by pregnancy and infant loss, grief, and maternal wellness. As we enter our 5th year of service and expand programming, we are seeking dedicated Board Members to join our leadership team.
We are approaching year 5 and looking to expand our board. Currently filling two open board seats and are looking for individuals who are passionate about community impact and nonprofit growth. Board members serve in a governance and leadership capacity, helping guide the organization’s strategic direction and sustainability.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals, community leaders, and advocates who want to make a meaningful impact in the Toledo area.
Board Member Responsibilities
- Attend board meetings (monthly transitioning to quarterly in the future)
- Provide governance, oversight, and strategic input
- Support fundraising and sponsorship efforts
- Serve as an ambassador for Tiny Hearts Remembered
- Participate on one board committee aligned with skills/interests
- Support organizational growth and sustainability
Ideal Backgrounds (Not Required)
We welcome diverse skills and experiences, including:
- Healthcare or maternal health
- Mental health/social work
- Nonprofit leadership
- Marketing/communications
- Fundraising or development
- Finance/accounting
- HR, legal, or administration
- Community advocacy
Time Commitment
Approximately 4–6 hours per month
Location
Toledo-area preferred for community connection and occasional in-person events.
