Cat Sanctuary Caregiver

13th st cat rescue has opportunities to volunteer by helping care for the cats at our sanctuary in downtown San Jose. These duties include cleaning litter boxes, providing fresh food and water, socializing our harder-to-adopt cats, and light cleaning. Some cat experience is necessry. This opportunity is great for someone who likes to work alone with the cats as their company. The garage volunteers will share photos and stories, and there will be gatherings so you can meet the other people in our organization. Please note that this location is not similar to a shelter or store front it is primitive in nature.

We usually staff with one morning shift and one evening shift/day. There will be an orientation meeting, and then if you are interested- there will be two training sessions with current volunteers.
