Drive with Purpose - Blood Transportation Driver

The American Red Cross provides almost 40% of the blood and blood products used by hospitals in the area. Volunteer drivers are a crucial part of getting these products to where they are needed in a safe and timely manner. Drivers pick up from the blood drives and deliver it to the warehouse for testing and deliver blood products to hospitals throughout the community. Must have valid drivers license. Ability to lift 45 lbs. Able to complete required paperwork. We are especially looking for drivers with morning and afternoon availability. Our need for volunteers is constant and our guidelines reflect the latest CDC safety recommendations and follow the national and local government laws. COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged.
