Chatty Cafe USA is a social initiative dedicated to reducing social isolation and loneliness by bringing people together - one chat at a time.

We believe that even brief, everyday conversations — a chat over coffee or sharing a table — can help people feel more connected and less alone. By creating welcoming spaces in local social venues such as cafes, libraries, community centers, campuses, and recreational spaces, we help transform everyday venues into places where community and belonging can grow.

We are seeking community-minded volunteers who want to make a meaningful difference by helping expand opportunities for social connection in their local area.

• Do you know a cafe or coffee shop that could be a great home for a Chatty Table — a welcoming space where customers can sit if they’re open to a friendly chat?
• Are you connected to a local library, campus, or community venue that could bring people together through conversation?
• Do you enjoy meeting people and sharing initiatives that make communities more welcoming and inclusive?
• Volunteer roles can include: helping introduce Chatty Cafe USA to local venues, hosting chatty tables, and encouraging others to join our growing movement to reduce loneliness and social isolation — one chat at a time.
