Greeter/Screener: You greet everyone visiting the site to create a pleasant
atmosphere, and screen taxpayers to determine what they need
Tax Preparer: Prior to completing our training, you provide free tax return
preparation for eligible taxpayers.
Quality Reviewer: You review tax returns completed by volunteer tax
preparers.
Site Administrator/Coordinator: You develop and maintain schedules for all
volunteers to ensure adequate coverage, supplies, and equipment
Hours: The hours available are Monday-Wednesday 5:00PM - 8:00PM. A volunteer does not need to be here all three days, but does need to commit to the full three hours of tax preparation for any given day.
After being trained using IRS training materials and testing with a minimum passing score of 80% you will be asked to select days and times that you can support the preparation of tax returns from January to April.
