Security Staff Volunteer — Licensed Armed & Unarmed Professionals (Chicago)

Licensed security professionals can help protect the people and spaces where Voices of Variety works.

What You'll Do

• Provide security support at programs, special events and community gatherings

• Help protect participants, volunteers, staff, students and equipment

• Support field trips, construction projects and youth activities

• Maintain a calm, welcoming presence — this is community safety, not enforcement

Who This Is For

Licensed armed and unarmed security professionals only. Current PERC card or applicable Illinois licensure required. Off-duty and retired law enforcement welcome. All volunteers must pass VOV screening requirements.

Time Commitment

Event and project based. Chicago and surrounding communities.

Why It Matters

Young people cannot grow in a place where they do not feel safe. Your presence is the condition everything else depends on.
