Do you feel called to minister to others through prayer, scripture, and companionship?
Providence Home Health & Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers who would like to visit hospice patients and provide spiritual support through:
- Reading the Bible aloud
- Prayer and encouragement
- Sharing faith-based conversations (when welcomed by the patient)
- Singing hymns or devotional readings
- Offering a caring presence during life's journey
Many hospice patients find comfort in hearing familiar scriptures, sharing prayers, and connecting with someone who can offer spiritual encouragement and companionship.
No medical experience is required. Training is provided, and volunteers are matched with patients who have requested spiritual support.
Whether you can visit weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, your time can bring peace, comfort, and hope to someone who needs it most.

📍 Our office is located at Harry & Webb in Wichita, but we serve patients throughout a 60-mile radius surrounding Wichita. Volunteers are assigned based on their preferred travel area, and opportunities are available in Wichita and many surrounding communities.

The next step is to stop by our office and complete an application. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM and is conveniently located at 9415 E. Harry St., Suite 703, Wichita, KS 67207.

We currently have patients waiting for someone of faith to spend time with them, offer companionship, share prayer, read scripture, and provide comfort during their final days. Your willingness to serve can make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.
