SEO Foundational Setup Volunteer (Project-Based)

NeoFortunity Inc. is a nonprofit organization focused on innovative education, research, and public learning initiatives.

We are seeking project-based volunteers to support a one-time SEO Foundational Setup project for our nonprofit website.

This project focuses on internal capacity building and public accessibility, ensuring that our educational and charitable programs are discoverable, understandable, and accurately represented through search engines.

This is not a marketing role and does not involve ranking guarantees, paid advertising, or commercial SEO services.

🎯 Project Scope

This is a short-term, clearly scoped volunteer project focused on foundational SEO best practices, including:

• Search engine indexing and visibility setup
• Page-level SEO clarity (titles, metadata, structure)
• Documentation and handoff for internal use

The work applies only to NeoFortunity’s own website and supports our nonprofit mission.

👥 Volunteer Roles Available

1️⃣ SEO Project Lead (1 volunteer)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project tasks and timelines
• Review and synthesize team deliverables
• Prepare a final SEO summary report

Estimated Time: 5–8 hours

2️⃣ Technical SEO Volunteer (1 volunteer)

Responsibilities:

• Google Search Console setup and verification
• Sitemap submission and indexing checks
• Mobile-friendliness and PageSpeed review

Estimated Time: 3–5 hours

3️⃣ On-Page & Content SEO Volunteer (1 volunteer)

Responsibilities:

• Optimize title tags and meta descriptions
• Review heading structure (H1/H2)
• Add descriptive image alt-text

Estimated Time: 3–5 hours

• Page-level SEO table (URL, Title, Meta Description)
• Image alt-text optimization list
• Technical SEO checklist
• Final SEO Summary Report (1–2 pages)
