MOTB Volunteer Materials Shipping Angel Program

Purpose

March of the Blanketeers (MOTB) is seeking Volunteer Material Shipping Angels to help cover the cost of mailing approved materials to volunteers so they can create handmade comfort items for hospitalized children and teens.

Program Overview

Shipping Angels help MOTB by supporting the shipment of approved project materials to volunteers.

MOTB Provides:

• Yarn
• Fabric
• Select approved project materials
• Shipping of these materials to volunteers

Volunteers Provide:

• Poly-Fil
• Time
• Labor
• Creativity

Goal

To reduce the financial burden of volunteer material distribution while helping equip volunteers to create:

• Bears
• Behind-the-scenes materials
• Blankets
• Cards
• Hats

Ways a Shipping Angel Can Help:

• Sponsor one volunteer materials package
• Sponsor monthly volunteer supply shipping
• Donate yarn or fabric
• Donate mailers, postage supplies, or shipping materials
• Provide general shipping support for volunteer materials distribution
