Michiganders for Money Out Of Politics Petition Circulator

We can stop corporations from buying off our democracy through a citizen-led, nonpartisan ballot initiative! Our plan is to collect enough signatures to put the Mop Up Michigan proposal on the 2026 ballot for voters to decide.

Volunteers are needed to help gather over 100,000 petition signatures to get money out of politics in Michigan!

Details of commitment

• Must be eligible to be registered to vote in Michigan OR a registered voter of another state.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a U.S citizen

Expectations for Petition Circulators

• Plan to collect at least 12-15 signatures per week. The more signatures, the better.
• Maintain channels of communication. It is extremely important that you keep in touch with your volunteer leaders by attending team meetings and reading their emails.
• Represent Michiganders for Money Out of Politics in a nonpartisan fashion. MMOP is a coalition of nonpartisan organizations so we ask that when you represent your organization and MMOP that you don't wear shirts or buttons from politicians, political parties or other organizations not in the coalition.
