Mentors needed

Through the Safe Harbour Mentoring Program, you would not only be helping a youth by being a much needed support in their lives, but would also be aiding in the development of your own sense of self as you learn and grow through this experience. We are currently seeking trustworthy individuals from all walks of life-experience or not, who want to make a difference.

We are currently accepting applications, interviewing, and beginning mentor training sessions.

This is a one year time commitment, however, all we ask is for 4 hours of your time per month. We are looking for volunteers who have a passion for helping vulnerable populations and have the desire to learn. Because the population we work with has been through so much, we do require about 10 hours of training on various topics to ensure that our mentors have the information they need to grow a mutually respectful friendship with their mentee. We are on a mission to be a part of the healing process for these survivors and eliminate risk factors for those who may be heading that way without even knowing it.
