Looking for a unique & incredibly rewarding way to serve your local community and make a difference? Share your professional expertise in a special way to meet the needs of patients in our care! Hospice & Community Care is seeking Hair Stylist volunteers. Hair Stylist volunteers provide hair cuts to patients in their home residences, Senior Nursing Facilities, or our Inpatient Center in Mount Joy.

For patients in our care, this service can bring comfort and joy and a much appreciated respite from the daily physical and mental challenges they face as a result of their serious illness. Hair Stylist volunteers equally benefit, as their service can bring an immense sense of purpose and satisfaction.

Hair Stylist volunteers must possess a current, valid PA Cosmetology license and have reliable transportation. Training will be provided. No time commitment is needed and patient visits can be designed to best fit a volunteers schedule.
