West Los Angeles Regional Branch Library is looking for volunteers to assist with maker and craft programs.
Volunteers should have working knowledge of and interest in learning about sewing machines, Cricut, button maker, 3D Printer, hot glue gun, tabletop games, basic craft supplies, to name a few.
Volunteers will assist with the setup and take-down of the space and answer basic equipment questions when needed. Volunteers will also maintain a welcoming environment for patrons when they come to utilize the space and equipment.
Volunteers should have great interpersonal skills, an interest in artistic endeavors and a commitment to show up.
Volunteers will be working mostly with teens, adults, and occasionally with families.
We are looking for volunteers who can come in to volunteer at least once a week for at least three hours.
The West Los Angeles Regional Branch Library is located on Santa Monica Blvd, just a few blocks west of the 405 freeway.
