Perfect for Nursing Students in Carbondale

If you're interested in a future career in the medical field, this may be a perfect opportunity for you. We are seeking volunteers to sit with our patients, hold their hand, talk to them, or whatever activity they'd like to do. You'd never be asked to provide any hands on care. Health care students who have volunteered with us have said by doing this they were able to remember the humanity of their patients, and it has helped them in their careers. We know you're busy, so we just ask that you visit your patient for one to two hours per week.
