Volunteer in a Healthcare Clinic in Savannah! (Mercy Volunteer Corps August 2027-July 2028)

Good Samaritan Clinic provides free primary medical care to uninsured adults in a welcoming and compassionate setting. In addition to primary care visits, the clinic offers preventative health screenings, referrals to specialty physicians and specialty procedures, and health education. A volunteer is needed as a clinic assistant or medical assistant, if licensed. The volunteer will initiate the intake process for patients, place follow-up phone calls, utilize the electronic medical record, assist with translation, and organize specialty clinics. Conversational Spanish is helpful but not required.
