🌱 Role Overview
This role focuses on supporting the growth, visibility, and reach of AFK Cafe through intentional outreach, content, and engagement strategies.
Growth & Marketing is not just about promotion — it’s about helping the right people find the community and creating pathways for them to engage, stay, and contribute.
You will help expand awareness of AFK Cafe across platforms, support community-facing content, and contribute to sustainable growth efforts that align with the community’s values.
🛠️ What You’ll Do
Manage and support social media platforms
Create or assist with content (posts, announcements, promotions)
Support outreach efforts (Discord, Reddit, partnerships, communities)
Track engagement and identify what is working
Help brainstorm and contribute to growth strategies
Support campaigns, events, and visibility initiatives
🔹 Types of Contributions
Social Media Managers — post content, manage platforms, maintain consistency
Content Promoters — share updates, events, and community highlights
Outreach Coordinators — connect with external communities and partners
Growth Analysts — track engagement and identify patterns
Placement is based on your strengths and interests.

💬 Communication & Responsiveness
AFK Cafe is a collaborative, remote community — communication is essential.
In this role, you are expected to:
Communicate consistently across platforms and with the team
Share updates on what you’re working on
Follow through on outreach or posting plans
Coordinate with other teams when needed
Consistency matters more than speed — reliability is key.
