Students of Psychology, Social Sciences, Arts and Education are most likely to be interested in the program. Nevertheless everybody is welcome to join us, despite their field of study. We only request for committed people who can help our organization accomplish its goals.
ASART MISSION
We are an organization dedicated to help abused children in Central America. We consider extreme poverty a social abuse. As a way of dealing with the problem we provide free art classes in schools and shelters. Our main goal is to increase children's self esteem. Through the creative process we give them a sense of pride, discipline, leadership and team work.
DESCRIPTION
You will mainly help us give art courses to children in social risk. We guide you with previous trainings and evaluating procedures to endure our work. We don´t ask for any specific artistic knowledge. Workshops are simple and fun. Trainings will provide you with significant tools to use during your social work.
