ACT: NOW is a service of the Alliance for Compassion & Tolerance in partnership with Crisis Intervention. This service provides emotional support, crisis intervention, suicide prevention services, and is sensitive to any cultural issues of importance. Our specialists are here to listen and support you or a loved one through difficult times.
24/7 Support
ACT: Now provides support 24/7 365 days a year through the hotline. Trained operators can help get you through whatever difficult times you may be facing. The partnership between ACT and Crisis Intervention ensures that operators are trained to understand and react to any sensitive issues including culture, religion, or identity.
Who should call?
Anyone who feels that they or someone close to them is going through a difficult time. People call in with all types of concerns. These can include bullying, a change in behavior, loneliness, and depression.
