CareMessage

CareMessage is a nonprofit technology organization based in San Francisco with the mission to improve health literacy and disease self-management for underserved populations.

The CareMessage web based platform enables healthcare organizations to use mobile technology to make underserved patients healthier. Since 2013 healthcare providers across the United States have added over 1 million patients to the CareMessage platform and have demonstrated a variety of improvements in clinical outcomes, no shows, and preventive care screenings. To date, CareMessage has raised over $10 million from Google.org, William K. Bowes Jr. Foundation, Pershing Square Foundation, Y Combinator, Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, Echoing Green, and others in an effort to build technology to solve problems in healthcare.
