Event and Course Support

Support a passionate team dedicated to helping people create more mindful and compassionate work environments. Our mission-driven social impact startup will provide you with an opportunity to grow your skills, your mental capacities, and your abilities. Working alongside us, you will see the real and immediate impact of your work on a global scale supporting the growing mental wellness / mental health field.

This position provides customer support to all our training, events, products, and services, and additional support to our annual Mindful Leader Summit and our MBSR courses.

We offer training, curate, and convene events, learning communities, and educational resources to inspire, develop, and enable people. • Live Online 8-Week Mindfulness Training (MBSR developed at the University of Mass.)
• Workplace Mindfulness Facilitator Certification program.
• Meditate Together (meditatetogether.com), a free 24 hours a day, drop-in meditation group supported by over 100 volunteers worldwide.

The following are required and will help you succeed in this role:

• Quick learner
• Ability to adapt and be agile in a startup environment
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Very comfortable with technology
• Self-managed, self-starter
• Detail Oriented
• Experience practicing mindfulness/ meditation
• Bachelor Degree
• 5+ years of work experience

Mindful Leader is a social impact startup headquartered in a co-working space near the Mosaic distrinct in Fairfax, VA (accessible via Dunn Loring Metro).
