Join Us to Explore New Pathways to Peace with A Conflict Resolution Practitioner and A Former Youth Combatant from Somalia

There are numerous conflicts around the world, and many of us feel the pain when we hear about them. But how can we build new pathways to peace? Accept International has been working on the frontlines of conflict zones, including Somalia and Yemen, to better understand the backgrounds of youth who join armed groups, including violent extremist organizations. We have developed a new approach focused on addressing the root causes of conflict, such as the cycles of hatred and violence that perpetuate these conflicts.

In this event, our staff with experience in conflict zones will be joined by a former youth combatant from Somalia. Together, they will explore the lives of combatants on the ground and discuss approaches to root cause conflict resolution and peacebuilding.

Through this event, we hope you will gain new insights into conflict resolution.
