Community Mental Health Clinician / QMHP
Job Responsibilities:
The Community Based Mental Health Clinician is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) who provides therapeutic interventions to youth and their families. Duties include assessments, individual, family, and/or group therapy, case management, and maintaining clinical records for each client, and ensuring that the clinical records meet all compliance standards. In addition, the clinician will provide consultation with parole/probation, DHS child welfare, and other community partners, and be present as a positive and compassionate therapeutic support. On a rotating basis, on average every 3 weeks, the clinician will serve as on call, after hours clinical consultation for the staff of Anisa’s Place. Anisa’s Place is the therapeutic home for 6 female and female identifying youth in Clackamas County. This position reports to the Clinical Director.
Schedule and Working Conditions:
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE, 40 hour per week) position with rotating after hours coverage for Anisa’s Place. There are no after hours or on-call coverage for the outpatient youth. The Clinician is expected to work hours that vary in times and occasionally include weekends to meet the needs of clients. This position will require traveling in a personal vehicle to meet clients in their communities, as well as potentially transporting clients.
