Organizing and Movement-Building Intern

CFC is actively seeking a motivated and dedicated intern who is passionate about reproductive freedom to serve as an intern in the Organizing and Movement-Building Department. This role is essential in helping build and support an organizing program to establish CFC as the leading space for progressive, pro-choice Catholics. The ideal candidate will be a proactive learner with a strong interest in community organizing and educational tactics, eager to provide opportunities for CFC advocates to engage in meaningful action and community building. The intern must possess excellent interpersonal skills, a willingness to work with diverse groups, and a commitment to inclusive, faith-based advocacy.

The Catholics for Choice Internship program will run from around June 4 to August 16, 2024.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with a preference for majors in Public Health, Social Work, Gender Studies, Theology, Political Science, or related fields.

Compensation

• The position offers a pay rate of $17.50 per hour and is eligible for overtime.
• 40 hours of Paid Time Off (in addition to paid company holidays falling during the internship program).
• Paid Half-day Fridays.
