SUMMARY
UnidosUS seeks a Special Projects Manager on a contract basis to support two key institutional projects: Building Power 2024 (BP24) and Climate Coalition Capacity Building Project (The Climate Project). The Special Projects Manager will specifically provide substantive, strategic, and administrative support to both projects.
BP24 is a robust, institution-wide strategy to build the power and representation of Latinos during this pivotal election year and beyond. BP24 is co-led by the Senior Vice Presidents of Advancement & External Affairs, Policy & Advocacy, and Programs, and supported by a working group of staff from across disciplines and issue areas.
The Climate Project is a partnership between UnidosUS, National Urban League, and National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development to build and increase the capacity of organizations at all levels—federal, state, and local—working to reduce the impact of climate change in neighborhoods and communities of color. The organizations will work together as a cohort that is informed and guided by its member organizations. The Climate Project is co-led internally by the Senior Vice Presidents of Policy & Advocacy and Programs.
The Special Projects Manager is a term-limited position for 12 months, with the possibility of extension or renewal based on performance and funding availability, and will report to the Senior Vice President, Programs.
The position is hybrid and will be based in Washington, DC or New York, NY.
