Part-Time Content Reviewer

Summary of Position:  The Part-Time Content Reviewer is responsible for reviewing video content, providing feedback regarding such content, and discussing the content with colleagues. The Reviewer will be required to take careful notes of relevant content found during the video screening process. Potential Reviewers should have the highest regard for maintaining confidentiality and anonymity with respect to the position. This opening is strictly limited to part-time work. Candidates should be interested in coming in a few hours per week. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

·       Reviews video submissions  

·       Notates relevant content while screening videos 

·       Discusses the content in a small group setting and considers its appropriateness for different age groups 

·       Evaluates the content within the context of established standards 

Requirements/Qualifications: 

·       Attention to detail 

·       Ability to communicate effectively, articulate and support their opinions, and work well in small group settings 

·       Strong critical thinking and analytical skills 

·       Physical capability to view monitors and televisions for extended periods of time 

·       Knowledge of media (Film, TV, Music, Games, Social Media, Internet/Web Series, etc…) 

·       Interest in video games and apps 

·       High school graduate, some college a plus 

·       Experience caring for children and/or general knowledge of child development a plus
