Who We Are

Launch Girls is an international nonprofit registered as a 501c3 that prepares adolescent girls to thrive in the world of work. We believe that girls can lead, create, and drive change, and we are here to help unlock that potential. Launch Girls creates customized, girl-centered entrepreneurship programming that helps girls develop 21st century professional skills, plans for their futures, and the confidence needed to succeed in life after school. We partner with organizations across Southeast Asia and Africa who are working closely with adolescent girls ages 12-24 and implement our Girl Boss programs. Role and Responsibilities

• Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs, and financial needs of the organization
• Research previously identified grant opportunities to determine if Launch Girls is eligible and to better understand the funding opportunity
• Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the donor organization
• Submit proposals to supervisors for approval
• Maintain records in our digital platform, Bloomerang, and submit reports related to grant opportunities

Relevant Experience and Qualifications: You have / are

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong research and analytical skills 
• Deep passion for global gender equity and improving the lives of adolescent girls around the world
• Experience in grant writing and international development preferred but not required
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
• Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines and be flexible and responsive in addressing the needs of a fast-paced remote environment working across different time zones
• Self-starter and internally driven
