March of Dimes - Colorado

March of Dimes is the champion for babies. We are dedicated to giving each one a healthy start by preventing birth defects, premature births and infant mortality. To achieve this, we fund research, community services, education and advocacy. One of history’s greatest leaders, President Franklin D. Roosevelt founded The March of Dimes in 1938 to address the epidemic of Polio. In 1955 the March of Dimes realized its founding mission when the Salk vaccine was declared “safe, effective and potent”. That same fighting spirit is alive today in the March of Dimes volunteers, staff and supporters who are now working to give all babies a healthy start in life.
