Ashakiran Rural Medical Mission

We ASHA KIRAN (A Rural Medical Mission) was established with the sole ambition to work for the comprehensive development of the rural poor, downtrodden and the underprivileged, especially rural women and Children in the backward coastal district of Prakasam. The development includes in the aspects of Health,Education, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Cultural, Rural Transformation and Community Development etc, specially we are working among DALIT Communities. Because these communities are suppressed and untouchables in India since many decades.

Ashakiran means 'Ray of Hope' To promote a society wherein women and children, the poor, marginalized and backward communities have equal share and opportunities to be self reliant with justice, equity and pride. Enhancing the quality of life and empowering families and communities irrespective of caste, creed and religion through charitable initiatives towards substantial progress.

Ashakiran was established in the year 1999. This organization meets all requirements described order under section 12A approval under section 80G (5)(VI)of The Income Tax Act 1961 Govt of India. All contributions to this organization are tax deductible and records of such contributions will be issued at the closing of each fiscal year by the organization. A complete financial audit would be conducted annually under the supervision of all the Board Members.

We are seeking for Health Care Professionals, Education Professionals and other Organizations to work for our Mission as a Partner Organization, if any body or any Organization are interested we welcome for such people and organizations to work with us as a collaboration.
