Choice Foundation

The Choice Foundation was created a couple of years ago to cater for the needs of the underpriviledged in Cameroon. There are lots of women weary with the burden of raising children and lacking confidence to make tough, life-changing choices. The Choice Foundation is thus a non-profit programme that empowers financially-challenged people to become self-sufficient through mentoring, motivational and training programmes. We work in collaboration with churches who lease space for our high-school equivalency classes for women from poor illiterate backgrounds. We work with partcipants one-on-one. We find out where they are lacking in terms of needs, then push them to make it. The power to choose is our most valuable asset. Most people aren't lazy or stupid, but willing and capable of achieving self-sufficiency.
