Crisis Camp London is a BarCamp style event that aims to contribute to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief worldwide through the use of technology.

It is part of a larger network, the Crisis Commons movement, which takes place in several locations around the world. It emerged as response to the earthquake in Haiti. It has contributed to relief in the aftermath of the earthquake through open mapping (development of local maps using internet technology), developing applications to aggregate local resource information for relief workers, and developing low-bandwidth applications for use by the relief effort.

Following this experience, Crisis Camp London has become a permanent platform, for people to meet on a monthly basis (every 3rd Saturday of the month) to work on existing challenges, responding to requests from international organizations, NGOs and others.
