Environmental Tax Reform-Massachusetts

Environmental Tax Reform of Massachusetts (ETR-MA) is an organization of professionals, business people, economists, and activists who have been working together to enact state-level tax reform that would increase taxes on greenhouse gas emissions and redistribute the revenues back to people and businesses in the state. ETR-MA is a project of the Massachusetts Environmental Voters Education Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization which serves as supporters and fiscal sponsors of our organization. In addition, ETR-MA is one of the originators of a growing national federation of organizations, with chapters already established in Washington, Oregon and California and expanding to states such as Maine, Vermont and Virginia.
