RAHAB Ministries (Reaching Above Hopelessness and Brokenness, Inc.)

RAHAB Ministries is a faith-based non-profit (501c3) that provides trauma-informed direct services and residential programming to victims of sex-trafficking.

RAHAB has been addressing human sex trafficking since before human trafficking became a commonly recognized term. Founder Becky Moreland began doing street outreach in 2002 on the streets of Akron, Ohio. RAHAB grew to include drop-in centers, mentoring, court partnerships, safe & transitional housing and community based case management.

Requests for RAHAB to provide accurate education based on on-the-ground experience serving trafficking survivors and those at high risk regularly come from government agencies, medical providers, social service providers, concerned community groups, educational institutions and houses of worship. Learners have crossed state and national borders to attend RAHAB trainings.

RAHAB believes Truth spoken and Love in action are the solution to the modern-day slavery of human trafficking.
