We are a newly formed not-for-profit organization based in the Bushwick, Brooklyn neighborhood. Our mission is to facilitate the community to learn, share, and experience the art of all natural, from-scratch cooking.
We are active in the community and are getting more interest in the things we’re currently doing:
-- Making and sell food at the Bushwick Farmers Market.
-- Working with the local food co-op doing live cooking demos and providing recipes.
-- Hosting learning experiences with restaurants and food producers.
-- Creating several community outreach projects, including building a roof-top greenhouse to support a garden that feeds residents and painting a mural all about eating fresh foods on an often-tagged street corner.
