Pride Roc is doing the work of healing complex trauma through Gang Rescue and Refinement Passages (GRR).
We are on a mission to bring a radical new model of healing to the lives of young Black men who have experienced deep, systemic trauma. Gang involved youth who venture beyond the few blocks that they represent can experience life threatening moments— whether walking to the gas stations, grocery stores, public transportation, etc… These environments vicariously make civilian youth “At-Risk”. Treating Complex Trauma, Training in Disciplines, Training in Vocational Skills = Healing & Skilling. Our groundbreaking practice is built on a foundation of trauma-informed care, layering on the following consistent holistic wellness techniques.
